Room 627
Behind
the Scenes
Every film lives twice. Once in the writing, and once on the day. These images were captured during principal photography in April 2026. They document the work behind the work — the setups, the moments between takes, and the people who brought this story to life.
Independent filmmaking runs on passion as much as it runs on budget. On a production like this, crew members often wear multiple hats — a grip who doubles as a production assistant, a script supervisor who steps in front of the camera, a director who is also the writer. Unit Production Manager J. Penberth Rabold kept the entire production scheduled and on track, no small feat for a shoot of this scope.
What you see in these images is a small, dedicated team doing the work of a much larger one. Every frame of Room 627 exists because these people showed up and gave everything they had to tell this story.
